Connect your agent

If you’d rather explore my work with an agent, you can. This site has an MCP server with access to my experience, projects, case studies, and writing.

Ask your agent

Copy this into Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode and ask it to set up the connection.

Add Will Ricketts’s read-only MCP server at https://www.willricketts.com/mcp to this client as will-ricketts. It uses Streamable HTTP and needs no authentication. Preserve my existing MCP connections, verify the connection, then summarize Will’s engineering experience from its published content with links to the sources. Tell me if I need to restart the client.

Your agent needs permission to update its MCP settings. It may ask you to restart before the new tools are available.

Set it up yourself

Choose your client and run its command in your terminal.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http will-ricketts https://www.willricketts.com/mcp

Run the command in your project, then check the connection in Claude Code with /mcp. Claude Code setup guide

Codex
codex mcp add will-ricketts --url https://www.willricketts.com/mcp

Check that the server is configured with codex mcp list. Codex setup guide

OpenCode
opencode mcp add will-ricketts --url https://www.willricketts.com/mcp

With OpenCode 2, run the command in your project, then check the connection with opencode mcp list. OpenCode setup guide

Other clients

Use this address in any client that supports MCP over Streamable HTTP. It reads my published content, so there’s no account or API key to set up.

Try asking

  • “How has Will introduced agentic development to engineering teams?”
  • “Show me Will’s Elixir work and writing.”
  • “What problems do Nicotine and Replicator solve?”
